Rome -- Part 4 Our Robert Langdon Search

We were very impressed (again) with the fountains of Rome. We were curious if the fountains and sites of the Angels and Demons drama were true, so we took a little investigative tour.

The Castel St. Angelo was the final site from the movie, but our first sighting.


Our hotel was near the Pantheon, so we headed there immediately, even though it was a dead end in the movie.



We went out of our way to find St Theresa (the fire element in the movie...), and sure enough, we found it.

The Four Rivers Fountain was in the movie and we were staying near it, so we purposely ventured there for dinner and a long look at the fountain.

I really liked the Four Rivers Fountain, so here I am in front of my favorite god representing a river.

We weren't quite convinced that the water fountain scene was accurate, so we tried to find another statue/fountain that would work. Here's Mike's best pose in front of a dead end search, the Fountain de Popolo.
We really loved the Fountain de Trevi, even though it was not in the movie. We wondered about the water scene, so we checked this one out...
