Our Europe Grand Tour

Well, we're back from our 16 day, 6-city European Vacation. We had a wonderful, amazing, unforgettable, fantastic time. I am a bit overwhlemed by the 2000 pictures we have, so I'm doing just a few posts at a time. We went to London, Paris, Venice, Cinque Terre, Rome and Athens. Here's London.

One of our first stops was St Paul's Cathedral -- it was amazing. We had no expectations because we hadn't really even heard of it, and we were just blown away! This dome is second in size to only St. Peter's Basicila at the Vatican. We climed 300+ stairs to the top, amazing.

Our second day, our only full day in London, we woke up early to be on the first bus tour of the day. We had a personalized tour because we were the only riders for a while.

One of many of our self-portraits. The Double Decker Bus tour.

After the bus tour, we ventured down to Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Gurards. I was amazing, so much ceremony. The band played Circle of Life -- we were surprised to hear that for sure.

Look Kids, Big Ben. Parliament. Big Ben. Parliament. I can't wait to watch Lampoon's European Vacation again...
