He's a Runner!

We "ran" in Josh's first race this Saturday--the Sweet Pea Children's 1 Mile Run. Josh fell asleep three blocks into it, but it was still one of the cutest things we've done together.

Here we are pre-race, numbered up and all. We joked about doing stretches to prepare, but the stroller straps sort of hindered that task.


Here are Josh and Mommy "running" down Main Street.

We "ran" with Michelle and Sidney, so our pace was pretty slow. It was fun to watch Sidney enjoy the racing and the crowd. MIchelle's a trooper, she's due with baby #2 in mid-September.


And here is the shot right after the finish line, after Josh collected his ribbon. The ribbon came with a free swim pass and two free ice cream cones at McD's. What a fitting race prize, huh?
