Trek to the Big Sky

We participated in a fundraising hike on Saturday. We thought it would be a fun hike--up Big Sky ski hill and down in the gondola. We were right! It was a gorgeous day, everyone was happy and in a good mood. Josh was a good sport in his stroller, even though he thought he should be doing his own hiking. We gave that a try but he couldn't navigate the rocky slopes very well. Maybe next year.


This is early on in the hike-see how tall the mountain looks from down here!? We didn't hike to the summit, but close enough to earn a t-shirt. :)


Here is a rare shot--I am pushing the stroller for a minute. Mike pushed for 2 1/2 of the 3 miles but somehow we did not get a picture of that action. At any rate, here is a good view of our trail and the scenery that surrounded us the whole way.

We taught Josh to drink from a sports bottle and go "AHHHHH" afterwards. He caught on quickly and had a great time doing it!
