Splash Park

For this week's Monday Field Trip, we met at the Belgrade Splash Park. What a treat--it's so fun to watch kids enjoy the water. Josh was pretty hesitant about the water getting on him. He was fine if he splashed in the water, sort of like if it was on his terms he was ok.

He's thinking about playing here. Maybe not, though.


He's happy splashing and making hand prints on the concrete.


We're learning how to go down stairs--sit and scoot. Here is a fine demonstration of this technique. Josh is not too sure when to use the maneuver, so it's sometimes on the edge of the deck and sometimes on a concrete pad. Safety first!


I'm Outta Here! I love the swinging arms and the determination in his step.


He was simply tuckered out. Thank goodness Keely brought this cool kiddy tent for him to sleep in.
