Our Little Horse Whisperer

Shea, our daycare provider, has a horse named Pepsi in her front yard. Josh LOVES Pepsi, and calls him Pep. Bye Pep, Hi Pep, climb to Pep, etc is all we hear when we drive to or from daycare. Thank goodness Pepsi is a very, very nice horse!


He got to feed carrots to Pepsi this afternoon. Shea was sure to be careful to teach him to lay his hands flat because his fingers look like carrots to Pepsi. Poor Pep almost had to break his neck for one silly carrot! :)


He loves to climb to Pepsi.


This is his "chore" every afternoon--feed Pepsi. While Josh is distracted giving handfuls to Pepsi, one piece of hay at a time, Shea loads up a real portion of food and Josh is none the wiser


Josh likes to sit on Pepsi's back. He got a little scared today when Pepsi flipped his tail to get some flies, Josh kept saying Pepsi Poop and looking scared. Oh well, at least he got a few minutes on Pepsi's back.

You may notice that he's wearing a pull up. Yes, we are beginning potty training...so far not so fun. I'm sure there will be pictures of big boy pants when we are successful, since he does look fabulous in them, but not any time soon! Wish us luck, we'll need it!
