Some Assembly Required

We bought Josh an outdoor play castle for distraction purposes. We thought this castle might be more fun for him than Sammy's water dish or the rocks in the yard. He loves to be outside, so this is good for him to have a purpose. Unfortunately, as soon as we got it home it started to rain and hail. We'll try it outside soon enough.

He's helping me put it together, what would I do without him?

He figured out the "adventure tunnel" very quickly.

He likes the "imagination wheel" too, but he has not figured out how to climb the rock wall to get to it on his own. All in due time.

This is a new favorite game--climb over to the stair, climb up on the partially exposed stair and shake the gate like he's trying to get out of prison. I personally love his tip-toes-effort. The whole thing is very cute, if it wasn't so darn dangerous. (the slate is a problem...)

Here is a close up picture of his "wound" from his face plant. It's healing nicely today.
