Playing Outside--Some new "Firsts"

This is technically Josh's first "hike" -- he's actually on the trail with his own two feet.


And this is just after Josh's first face plant. He was crawling down a steep slope and got some momentum behind him. He had dirt up his nose, a few scrapes and a lot of tears. We are sure this will not be the last time he gets a scrape or two. Boys will be boys.

And this is just a random picture from earlier in the week when we went to a neighborhood playground. He's standing at the slide like a big boy. He likes to eat the wood chips so much that the slide is really the only other draw to the playground.
