Swim Lessons

we went to the Madras Aquatic Center's swim lessons today. I thought it was a parent-tot class for kids under 3, but it was actually a kids class (so I was the only parent in the pool.) I feel so smart and cool. Oh well, it was fun for both of us (and for Daddy and Luke who came to watch).


Here is the class learning how to get in the pool safely. Aren't they cute?

He's supposed to be running across the pool--this is combining his two favorite things.


The teacher was teaching them how to put their faces underwater by saying "put your face in the water and say hi to the fishies" and so Josh was actually just putting his face NEAR the water and saying hi. Out loud.


He's getting his face underwater really well for not having done this before!
