Zoo-pendous!!

The Oregon Zoo was a blast! All four of us loved the animals and we just loved watching him love it. Well, Luke slept through the entire outing, but he'll catch it next time. Here are some highlights from our zoo-pendous day!


Our first stop was at mountain goats in the Pacific Northwest Exhibit. We have seen them in the wild, so we thought it was pretty cool.


Josh likes the zebras and wanted to climb in to say HI.


Look at this. We're looking at a snake. For those of you who know my fear, this is a huge deal for me. Look at Josh's hesitant face--I'm so happy he doesn't like snakes yet. Yet!!

Look Mommy, an elephant.


Here is our elephant view. We saw three big elephants and one baby. The baby's name was Sam, which we thought was pretty cool!


This was Josh's favorite animal -- Gloria the Hippo (From Madagascar the movie).


Josh got pretty tired about 1/2 way through, so big strong daddy had to carry him around. He weighs 37 lbs, so daddy got tired too. Here is a picture of a short rest, and a tired Joshy.
