ALOHA

Mike and I went to Kauai for a long weekend--Friday through Monday--while Joshy stayed in Oregon with Gramma Bonnie. If you ask us, we got the better deal. If you ask Joshy, he got the better deal. Either way, we have better pictures of our weekend.


This is why people go to Hawaii!


Here is our favorite dinner, at sunset.


We rented a red mustang, clearly we called her Sally, and took her all over the island. She was really fun to drive!


Here we are in front of Waimea Canyon, which is called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. We thought it was beautiful.


Here is my personal favorite beach, Secret Beach. It was lovely.


I sat on these lava rocks and waited for the surf to catch me...until finally it got me.


We took a helicopter tour on our first morning there. This is us immediately after the tour. Mike's still wearing his FAA mandated floation device. Lovely look!

He likes to load up his Go Diego Car and take his cargo across the room. It's a LOT of work, and that is just what makes him happy.

Josh loves to climb on things...this bear statue is just the right size to be an obstacle for him.
