Mt Hood

We went to the Timberline Lodge at Mt Hood and went for a real hike today. By real I mean we had a destination, we thought Josh could do it, we were ready to go! It was fun, reminded me of why I love hiking.

Luke is a good sport in the ol' backpack with daddy.


Here are my boys hiking. They were very happy, all three of them, the whole way.


Mt Hood has year round skiing/snowboarding, so there was plenty of snow for us to play in. This is a real snowball "fight"


Josh was told to keep his clothes dry, so he morphed into spider man to get that mission accomplished.


We loved the novelty of being along the Pacific Crest Trail.


We made it to a river crossing, which was basically a huge snow valley.


Sammy was in great form. She's the best dog!
