The Fair

The County Fair was in town last week and we had a great time when we went on Friday night. Josh loved the games and rides, and we loved the people watching. Holy Cow.


The first thing we did was go throw the ball. Such boys.



Josh won two prizes -- one from skee ball and one from dart throwing. I asked him to Look Proud and here is the pose he struck.


Then we figured out how much fun the rides would be. our first ride was the airplane ride, nice and safe.

Then we ventured to the worm wiggler roller coaster, and then we got brave and went to the ferris wheel. Josh was tentative at first, then fearless and frankly a bit scary. Here is his tentative face and locked down grip on the bar.

Dad took Josh on the carosel (twice) because the other rides were too small for him. And because Daddy was digging his Luke time.


Dad and Luke watched us while we went on the rides. Luke was really good there, he probably is just making a plan for next year.
