Crater Lake

This weekend we decided to get out and enjoy the summer. We started with a trip to Crater Lake National Park, which is only a few hours from our house. (Yes, I know, we just got back from a marathon drive last weekend. What can I say, we don't like to sit still!)


We started with a picnic lunch where Josh was showing us how big he is, or how he can fly, or something very, very serious like that.

Luke enjoyed his picnic food (peas and a rice cracker, ooh and ahh).


From our picnic stop, we took a nice little hike along the rim. What a view!

This is Luke's first backpack ride. First hike. First national park. Big big day.
