Trip to Portland 1 of 2

Well, after a week in the metropolis called Madras (ha! population 5500), we went to Portland to visit Chris and Amanda Meyer. Here is the first installment of our trip and the last of the hotel photos.



I was concerned about making him spend too much time in the carseat but he seems pretty happy--look at this smile!


Thank God for the Pack and Play! We basically lived out of it for sleep and for the changing table. Josh is growing so fast, he's almost as long as the width of the table!


The Meyers are terrific hosts and tour guides.


We visited the largest sitka spruce in the US and the largest tree in Oregon, which is 550 feet tall. I love this kind of crap!!!


We went to Washington Park to visit the Rose Garden on Saturday night. Mike and Josh take time to smell the roses...
