The boys were so happy that Gramma Wright had toys that are noisy and move!
During Thanksgiving, right around the time the boys were finishing up their dinner, a poor little buck entered John's yard. We told John to get it, the boys started chanting Shoot It Shoot It Shoot It, and although it seemed sort of odd, John stepped out onto his front porch and shot it. Here we are watching John and Grampa Wright gut it from the dining room window. Now that's a Thanksgiving adventure!
This is Josh in front of what he considered a good sledding hill. It's straight up and down, rocky, and narrow. Uh, NO! He was pretty determined, though.
He walked all the way around to where we were, and slid down to the driveway area.
Josh made about 4 of these laps, sidehilling all the way around to a 5 foot dropoff where he could "make an avalanche."
I made a lap with him and I gotta say, he's crazy!
We went Christmas tree hunting on Saturday and Josh found his own sledding hills. He was really brave, if you ask me!
After the trees were cut down and brought home, Josh got to ride behind the snowcat for a few laps. He loved it!
Luke did not enjoy being pulled on the sled. He was tired, but still, he did not enjoy it one bit. He kept saying Scares Me, Scares Me. I ended up carrying him to where we got the trees, and then taking him home for Gramma to put him down for a nap. This is Luke in knee/thigh deep snow.
The kid is fearless. He would just jump off the berm and down onto a hill he'd never seen before.
And back at home with daddy on Sunday, this is one special story time!
Luke likes to help around the kitchen. He's stirring his own eggs in this picture. What a nice helper boy!
