Bonnie tells us this is the original box car. :) Josh loved the box as much as he did any of his store-bought gifts, typical!!
Who can resist a kid in a grown up santa hat?
We did an advent calendar for Josh this year. He actually got it--well at least that there are goodies in the doors, not the date and the one door per day parts.
Here is Josh all decked out for Christmas Eve mass. He was a good boy at church, much to my surprise!
Christmas Eve is all about eating, and Josh figured this out quickly. He bellied up to our "bar" with Grampa Wrong and Gramma Wright for some snacking, although he is better at sharing the food than eating it himself.
Barnard's Santa brought Josh this activity play table, which I guess is actually a stepping stool. We have a monkey for a son!
We let Josh sleep in on Christmas morning, but he knew something was up, so he came running out of his bedroom to see what the commotion was all about. So cute!
Gramma Bonnie and Grampa Wrong got Josh this trike, which we knew would be a huge hit. We let him open it early so we could all watch him enjoy it. The first thing he did was grab the tools and start fixing it--typical Joshy! He takes his work very seriously!
I love this--the little license plate, the devilish grin, the whole thing!
He figured out that the trike is more than just a transportation device, it's also a lazy boy.
Uncle John (Wright) gave Josh a real tool box with toy tools in it. Josh is in heaven! The tool belt proved to be a bit of a problem, due to Joshy's bell-bell being so round and lovely.
Gramma and Grampa Wright gave Josh a weed eater--they figured if he has a lawn mower, a vacuum and a snow shovel, why not!? He loves it. He takes it in the car with us, he sleeps with it, I mean he really loves it!!
Merry Christmas! I think he might have been a little overwhelmed with the whole procedure, but he really liked playing with the new toys and all of the attention coming his way.
We went to the Museum of the Rockies before we left Bozeman, which was great fun. Josh loved the bat caves with his daddy!
Josh tried his hand at serving us some food from the Museum's toy room. He looks like a natural.
On our way home from MT, we stopped at a Columbia River Gorge Discovery Center, which had a kid's room. Josh climbed right into this dugout as if he was a member of Lewis and Clark's expedition!
He put on his settler hat and went to digging for treasures.
Here he is at the Discover Center, enjoying the boat and telescope. Obviously he has some growing to do, but don't tell him that!
