New Developments, and some old ones...

Josh turns 5 months in just a few days, so I thought we'd show you just what is new in his world. He's really mastered the rolling over to a toy, which is fun to watch. He's also really getting into his cereal feeding at night--even opening up his mouth when he sees the spoon coming his way. Such small things to us, but such big things to him!

Say Ahh! He's almost cross eyed focusing on the food!

We got a backpack carrier for him, and here is Mike taking him for a test drive around the kitchen. Josh seems to like it, so far!

This is not necessarily a new development, but we finally got pictures of it. Sammy gets the morning paper for us every day. She loves to bring it to the coffee table and get her treat. In fact, if someone reads the paper before she gets up (since she is not much of a morning person), she compulsively stares at the door until finally we let her out to show her that there is no paper out there. She's such a pleaser!

And here is Josh with the prize in hand, having rolled from his back to his belly to get the toy so he can eat the toy. He's quite single-minded lately.

And last but not least, Josh is learning to sit up. It's still at a stage where it needs constant supervision, but it's close to being independent. He's a bit belly-heavy! Please ignore the scratches on his nose--I really do clip his nails, he just is an aggressive scratcher.
