Our First Road Trip!

We went to Red Lodge for a friend's wedding on Saturday. It was Josh's first night away from home. He had a lot of "firsts" this weekend. First hotel room, first wedding, first time in a (smoke free) bar, first road trip, first national park visit, first time across state lines (to Wyoming). Big big weekend!
He was a very good boy and proved to be a good little traveler. We are quite pleased with this behavior, as you can imagine!

Here we are at the Beartooth Pass Summit. He did not mind the elevation or the chilly temperatures.


We thought this was the Beartooth Mountains at their finest, so Josh should be in a picture with them. The drive and the views were amazing.



And here Josh is shown enjoying the expanse of a king sized bed. He usually does not sleep with us in our bed, so we put him in the middle to be safe. I'm pretty sure he had more room than we did because we were so nervous we'd roll onto him.
